Female Relief Society October 18, 1875

Meeting held October 18, 1875. 
Opened with singing " We Thank Thee O God For a Prophet".  Prayer by Sister Peel.  Singing "Guide Us O Thou Great Jehovah"  The minutes  of a former meeting were read and accepted.  The donations and disbursements were read.  Sister Morrison was not present and Sister Peel presided.  Said she felt well and had enjoyed herself at conference.  She spoke of the United Order and said she thought we could not go around and believe the Lord would give us faith and strength to bear it if those who are placed over us did not do right.  It was not our fault, it was our duty to do what we were told to do.  The sisters bore their testimonies in general  and a good spirit existed among the sisters.  Meeting closed with singing "We Are Not Ashamed to Own the Lord". Prayer by Sister Joplin.

Female Relief Society October 4, 1875



Meeting held October 4, 1875.  Meeting opened with singing "Joy to the World the Lord Will Come". Prayer by Sister Jensen.  Singing "How Will the Saints Rejoice to Tell".  Sister Morrison addressed the sisters and she hoped the sisters would show their faith by their works and although we might feel a little oppresed sometimes, God was at the helm and if we would have faith in Him, everything would come out right.  The Lord has said He will have a tried people and we can look for nothing but trials

The minutes of the former meeting were read and accepted.  The teachers gave in their reports.  The sisters in general bore their testimonies and all felt well.  Sister Morrison "read" a portion of a sermon delivered by President Young.

Anna Elizabeth Frank was admitted as a member of the society.  The meeting closed with singing "How Firm A Foundation, Ye Saints of the Lord".  A closing Prayer was given.
